WELCOME TO THE PRAIRIE FARM LIONS' CLUB
"Continually striving to meet the needs of our local community and missions of the LION's Club International."

The Prairie Farm Lions' Club has been a proud supporter and active club community member since its charter in 1967. We focus our attention, volunteerism, and resources to local organizations that need assistance.  We have particular pride in our continued involvement and support for the Prairie Farm Post-Prom Activities (that encourages safe, healthy, and positive alternatives after prom-night for High Schoolers), our Scholarship Programs, and support for the FCCLA and FFA as well as numerous other school organizations.

Additionally, the Prairie Farm Lions Club is a proud supporter, sponsor, and organizer of local Prairie Farm Christmas Packages, Santa Claus Christmas visit for kids, the D.A.R.E program, Bloodmobile drives, Dairy Days in July, and Prairie Farm's beautiful Pioneer Park.

On a State and National level we help sponsor and support LIONS activities including the LION'S Camp that provides a safe and enjoyable camping experience for disabled youth and adults, support for Lions District 27 E-1 (comprised of 54 Lions, Lioness, and Leo Clubs in our neighboring 7 counties) and Lions' Sight First (a program that helps provide eye glasses for community residents in need).
By supporting your local Lions Club, you are making a lasting difference and a direct and positive impact to your hometown and local community. Although private donations are accepted a great deal of funding for the Prairie Farm Lions Club is made possible by the Lions sponsored fundraisers such as the Ridgeland/Prairie Farm Tractor Pulls (held in May and July) and Rifle Raffle in November which awards over $5000 in prizes!  These hometown events provide great family fun as well as entertainment for all ages and proceeds go to help make our community a great place to live.

Community involvement and support is key to the success of The Prairie Farm Lions Club and our continued ability to aid and assist the numerous worthy causes in which we support on a continued or needs basis.  We feel very fortunate to have with us two current members from the original founding Charter in Prairie Farm. We would like to thank and recognize all current and past members that have volunteered their time and services selflessly to the continued success and positive impact of the Prairie Farm Lions Club.

"Maybe one person going the right way can only make a little difference; but a little difference the right way can go a long ways."    We are always happy to accept new members.  Members of our community are welcome to attend our monthly meetings held on the first Monday of the month at the United Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm.  Please Join us in being a caring community; together, we can make a big difference.
